Living Gay in Russia, (continued)
"So now we just gather at each other's houses, or spend evenings at home,"
says Grisha. "There was a period when I wanted to meet new men all the time,
and would go out to the park in front of the theater and other places, but I
don't do that anymore. I've become mature," he says with a dry smile.
Grisha's living room is a virtual entertainment center of Western gay
culture, with stacks of magazines such as 10 Percent, Genre and the Advocate,
and videotapes of films such as "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," "Priest,"
"My Own Private Idaho," and "The Crying Game."
