She has a family to maintain. With seven children to feed, clothe and educate. The Center provided a small space to build a stand to sell sweets, sodas and tamales to help generate income. Thanks for the soda.

With a humanist agenda, the university tries to inculcate its students with an altruistic spirit wich is embodied in the classroom. Based on the philosophy of the university and by the initiative of Father Humberto Barquera, (now director), and other individuals and institutions, the Centro de Servicios Comunitarios (Community Service Center) was created to better manifest this philosophy.
