 | Liliana Galván Arámburo, 24, is studying Communications and Publicity in Tijuana. She has worked as a production assistant for an independent television program at a local station and also with various productions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Her interest in photography comes from a fascination and emotion in the arts, as well as from her work in television. Her project is the Centro Madre Assunta. |
 | Octavio Castellanos Rodriguez
Octavio has interested himself in the problems of the north of Mexico and above all, the border. He sees that there are many photographs of the adult immigrants, and yet very littlle of child immigrants and the organizations that help them. Photography has helped him as a way of self-expression, one of the basic necessities of all human beings.  | Victor Esparza was born in1964 in Tijuana, Mexico. He studied clinical psychology at the university and later began to work in the maquiladora industry. However, because of foreign investment interests in Mexico that existed for the sole purpose of "making money" he had conflicts with this career. He has since dedicated his efforts to community development projects where people living in poor "colonias" with insufficient housing and services can actively participate in finding solutions to their problems. He works with popular education programs that seeks to organize people and promote solutions to community problems. Victor studied photography at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California and has since then tried to use his photography in his social work. His project is the Fundación Esperanza. |
 | Yuri Manrique Figueroa, 36, is a native of Tijuana and is a professional architect and photographer. A graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), he is also a member of the photography workshop at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California. He has participated in different group expositions in Tijuana and in1996 joined the staff at the UIA as a teacher of design, communications and architecture.

 | Itzel Martínez del Cañizo She's 18 and has lived in Tijuana for 13 years. Her liking of photography began 2 and a half years ago. Her first step in photogaphy was to join the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Photo Workshop, and since then she's kept on with photographic activity.
Her interest in photodocumentary is to reinforce research with photography; giving it a clearer vision than that of a verbal description. She's just finished her first year of communication in the state university and is part of an independent research workshop intent on capturing Tijuana's popular history.

 | Ricardo Mendez Rodriguez
joined the UABC's photo workshop In June of 1994 where he completed the three required levels, and currently takes part in the workshop's experimental department under the supervision of professor Manuel Bojorkez. To date, he has taken part in various photographic exhibits in Tijuana and Ensenada. He's also collaborated in Momento Económico magazine, an UNAM publication from Mexico City, and Compas magazine from Los Angeles. His project is the

 | Rafael Rocha Beltrán was born in Sonora, Mexico in1965. He is currently living and studing in Tijuana and is taking extended photography studies at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, Ca.

 | Luz Aida Ruiz Martinez has lived in Tijuana nearly all of her life. She began to take photography classes a year and a half ago at a city run cultural center and has since then maintained a strong interest in photography as an art as well as a method of investigation combining visual with written information. A 3rd year communications student, she also edits a fanzine together with friends called El Sueño de Venus. Her project is the Casa de la Mujer - Grupo Factor X. |
 | Gustavo Salinas Uzárraga was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico where he lives and works as a photographer and graphic designer. He has studied in different photographic workshops in Mexico as well as the United States, such as with the Mexican photographer, Nicolas Triedo, in the Cultural Center of Contemporary Art and the Escuela Activa de la Imagen, both in Mexico City. He is currently working with experimental photography and collage. His project is the Casa de la Comunidad, Cañon K. |
 | Minerva Sánchez Arreola was born in March 1970 in the state of Durango, Mexico. She joined the photography workshop at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in 1991 and has participated in some of the workshop's collective exhibits such as "Acal-luz", "Atisbos", "Signos e Imágenes" and has exhibited in collective shows outside the university like "Cielos Inversos", "Mujeres a Contraluz", "Mujeres en la plástica Fronteriza" and "Una mirada a cierto espacio". Currently she is helping to found a collective of women photographers in Tijuana.

 | Joel Trejo is a 6th semester student majoring in Communication at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California in Tijuana. Born in 1973 in Torreón, Coahuila, México, he came to live to Tijuana in December 1993, and has interested himself in the city's social problems. He currently works with La Casa Tepopón project, an organization that focuses on street children.
