
| Tripp Mikich has worked for more than 25 years in the field of journalism and was director of photography with Parenting Magazine / Time-Warner for ten years. In his tenure, the magazine received numerous awards for its photography and he worked closely with many internationally acclaimed photographers. He left Time-Warner to found and direct FocalPoint f/8, an innovative internet project dedicated to developing new methods and applications for photography in digital environments. Under his direction, FocalPoint f/8 has drawn international attention with articles and stories on the project appearing in The New York Times, American Photographer and the Moscow Times. FocalPoint's ground-breaking project The Russian Chronicles is regarded as one of the most significant photographic experiments to date on the World Wide Web. Tripp also writes about the Internet for Photo District News and has several ongoing projects on popular culture around the world. |
